Government Workforce: Learning Innovations

Today we have access to instant information, are in a constant state of data overload, and have the ability to multi-task our multi-tasking. When creating effective workplace learning in the government, we add to the existing complexities the need to adapt to Federal mandates which change the rules almost as quickly as a solution is found, increasing demand to demonstrate measurable ROE (Return on Expectations), budget cuts, low retention rates, and pressure to adapt to multi-generational issues. Learning must have a prominent seat at the table to solve these unique government challenges--  this change will require innovation and collaboration from the learning community.

ASTD (American Society for Training and Development) and The Public Manager have over 120 years of combined experience leading the learning profession and providing best practices in management for the government. Together we have a community of learning leaders with the authoritative voice of the profession. As an unbiased, not-for-profit we're helping take on this challenge by bringing you an event designed by our collective communities, and you, to showcase the power collaboration and innovation will have in the learning environment to help agencies meet their strategic mission outcomes.

Join your colleagues in discussing the power that collaboration and innovation have in the learning environment to help agencies meet their strategic mission outcomes.

Sincerely,
